'Cuckmere from Rathfinny' - framed canvas print

One of a set of illustrations commissioned by Rathfinny Wine Estate. With a bit of artistic license I based this scene on one of my own photos of the views from the vineyard. The colours came to my mind before the exact details; I knew that dusky pink, gold and olive green would be a lush combination. Together I hope they evoke the atmosphere of a warm dusky evening in late summer. You could imagine yourself as one of the paddle boarders drifting down to the sea, turned gold by the setting sun.
