'Starling in Lobelia' - framed canvas print

I created this during Lockdown. During May 2020 I took part in an Instagram daily drawing challenge. I think I managed to keep it up for 28 days in a row, drawing every day and sharing it publicly. It motivated me and made for a lovely sense of community; I produced some of my favourite images in the process. My Lockdown drawings were all made on my iPad using Procreate which has some wonderful ‘brushes’. Here I enjoyed making use of the charcoal and chalk effects to capture the iridescent sheen on the Starlings’ feathers.
